GT E-7-a in Bluerender

Just one more for tonight, because I'm having fun with it. Still fairly WIP both virtually and physically.

CV T-3-a in Bluerender

No changes or updates to this one. Just putting Bluerender through it's paces.

GT S-1-f (Edited)

Some good tips from Cale and a Mod to the Bluerender engine that shows the brick lines and here's what I've got. This model is under construction in parallel to the Mogul.

GT S-1-f in Bluerender

Trying out Bluerender for final rendering of LDD models. I was never able to get good POV renders from a native LDD file. This is fast and produces a nice result. However, much like when photographing a real steam locomotive, I could use some help with the lighting settings so I can actually see the details. If anyone has some good settings I could try in the scene file. I'm all ears.

Grand Trunk 713 (WIP)

So I'm back to building after a 2-month hiatus. Built in 1900, and assigned to Island Pond, VT, this little mogul worked the GT NE line until 1954 when it was selected to haul the Canadian National museum train across Canada. From the mid 40s until 1954, it was the primary power on the 7.5 mile long Lewiston Branch mixed train. It is preserved at Exporail outside of Montreal. The design is about 75% complete. The chassis is undergoing testing and the results are very promising.
